Most couples inquire 4-6 months before they need their stationery, though earlier is always encouraged.
Save the dates are typically sent 8-10 months before the wedding, while wedding invitations are mailed 8–12 weeks prior (earlier for destination weddings).
-
No. Finished invitations are shipped directly to you so you can review everything, keep extras as a keepsake, and hand deliver if desired. I’m happy to assist with postage guidance and mailing recommendations.

Below are the most common pieces included in a wedding stationery suite:
Invitation
The main card that shares your names, wedding date, time, and ceremony location. This sets the overall tone for your celebration.Save the Date
An early announcement card sent ahead of the formal invitation, sharing your wedding date and location so guests can plan accordingly.Day of Stationery
Coordinating pieces used at the wedding itself, such as programs, menus, escort cards, place cards, and signage.Envelope
Holds the full suite and is addressed to your guests. This is where postage is placed.Envelope Liner
A decorative paper lining inside the outer envelope. It adds color, texture, or pattern and creates a beautiful first impression when the envelope is opened.Inner Envelope (optional)
Traditionally used to list invited guest names. Often omitted in modern suites, but included when desired.RSVP Card
A card directing guests to your wedding website to respond online, or a traditional reply card mailed back to confirm attendance, often paired with a return envelope.Details Card
Shares additional information such as reception location, accommodations, travel notes, or attire.Vellum Wrap or Jacket
A decorative layer that wraps the suite, often translucent or printed with a design, and sometimes crafted from fabric or other specialty materials.Wax Seal
A decorative seal used to close a wrap, secure ribbon, or close an envelope. Adds a tactile, heirloom-quality finish.Ribbon
Used to tie the suite together for a softer, romantic look.Embossing or Letterpress
Printing techniques that create dimension. Letterpress presses the design into the paper, while embossing raises it from the surface.Die Cut
A custom shape cut directly into the paper, creating a distinctive silhouette beyond a standard rectangle. -
That’s completely normal. I’ll walk you through the options and help you decide what makes the most sense for your wedding. Final quantities and design decisions are needed at least one month prior to your requested delivery date to ensure a smooth production timeline.
